Job Summary : We are seeking a Brand manager for our client. A brand manager\'s role encompasses developing and executing strategies to bolster a company\'s brand. They conduct market research to comprehend consumer trends and competitor landscapes. Collaborating with product teams, they ensure that new offerings align with the brand\'s identity. Marketing campaigns are meticulously planned and executed to engage target demographics, with an emphasis on consistent brand messaging. Budget allocation and management are key responsibilities, and they continuously monitor the brand\'s performance, making adjustments as necessary. Cross-functional collaboration with departments such as sales and advertising is essential to achieve branding objectives. Effective communication with stakeholders and the measurement of branding success complete their responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities

1) Marketing and Branding Strategy - a) Assists in developing and executes the marketing & branding strategy to improve market share and reach. b) Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies.

2) Market Research - Undertakes all market research for obtaining feedback on various aspects of the brand

3) Implementation of Marketing activities :

a) Implements or ensures implementation of the strategies to achieve the brand objectives.

b) Assists in developing and executing plans for brand extension.

c)Identifies trends and insights, and optimizes
spend and performance based on the insights

d) Assists in preparing and executing brand advertising concept, packaging, and promotion

e) Handles content and creative part in the marketing campaigns

f) Tracks performance of brand based on specified criteria

g) Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders for execution and follow the timelines as per calendar.

h) Measures and reports the performance of all offline marketing campaigns (ROI and KPI)

4) Collaboration with other teams - a) Co-ordinates with sales department to implement & monitor marketing initiatives for the brand b) Implements & tracks attractive sales promotional drives across various levels of distributors & consumer franchise.

5) Coordination with agencies - a) Coordinates with internal & external media agencies for implementation of the Brands strategy b) Co-ordinates with key media providers for the brand c) Coordinates with advertising & research agencies as well as consultants to develop suitable brand initiatives to position the brand in keeping with the above identity

6) Coordination with vendors - Negotiates with vendors for printing of POS materials and for the BTL activities

7) ATL and BTL planning - Plans ATL & BTL so as to deliver the required value proposition, as derived from the above brand identity. Should have handled ATL budgets of 20 crore or more.

8) Budgeting - Keeps track of all brand related expenditures vis- vis budgets.

Qualifications and Skills :

- 5 years minimum experience

- Someone who has handled FMCG brands (Food )

- Should possess strong data analytic skill

- Should demonstrate strong acumen for data-based decision making

- Demonstrates collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team

- Displays ability to work in fast paced and deadline-oriented environment

- Self- motivated with critical attention to detail

- Knowledge about product development will be an added advantage

- Keen to learn and experiment
