Role Description

The Branch Operations Analyst is responsible for ensuring timely, complete and accurate processing of relevant information, including performing all relevant controls within own area of responsibility. They undertake time critical, complex or regulated tasks and must ensure the timely escalation of operational, regulatory and other risks to the line manager and functional leads as appropriate.

The Branch Operations Analyst may also be responsible for building and managing relationships with the front office and other internal and external parties at an appropriate level, in particular around the more time critical, complex or regulated tasks.

Your key responsibilities
  • Working knowdelge of E/IDPMS
  • Handling trade pay transactions
  • Addressing queries for EFIRC/IRM/ORM/BOE
  • Handling FEMA compliance for trasactions in line with Local and Intl guidlines
  • All the other mics. ops functions.
  • Support other products as and when required.
  • Manage desk independently & ensure work life balance.
  • Ensure that transactions processed as per Standard Operating procedures and highlight any procedural modifications wherever required.
  • To ensure that transactions processed within specified TAT.
  • Ensure adherence to internal guidelines and compliance aspects.
  • Knowledge on various regulations connected with Trade Finance Operation
Position Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • The desk involves working Indian time zone of 5 day week and daily 9:30 am to 7:00 pm & alternate working Saturdays.
  • The Trade Operational processes managed by the desk is time critical & is governed by multiple regulations issued by regulators, thus candidate if possible needs to have comprehensive knowledge of external guidelines along with processing knowledge of the products dealt in the local markets or should be willing to pick up the process by putting extra effort to learn and adapt.
Your skills and experience

Experience / Exposure :
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Word a must.
  • Good communication skills, oral and written.
  • Problem solving attitude and resolving conflicting situations.
  • Ability to adhere to tight deadlines and accuracy in pressure situations.
  • A customer and service orientation to ensure that outcomes are achieved in line with the organization\xe2\x80\x99s expectations.
  • FEMA Knowledge.
Education / Qualifications :
  • Minimum Qualifications - Bachelors Degree from recognised University.
  • Minimum 7 years experience in Financial industry / 3 to 4 years experience in the Trade Finance.
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines in Trade Finance would be benificial
