We develop new drive systems and new generations of electric drives. In this way you make a contribution to the development of future drive concepts. Your concepts become part of our modular drive system and are used in a large number of products

• You will take over the system development for innovative electronically commutated drives for e-mobility, high-voltage auxiliary units, small actuators and develop according to the V model, from the requirements analysis to the system analysis and design of the drive electronics to verification in the system.

• You are responsible for mentoring junior team members.

• You are responsible for architecture definition at drive system level, deriving and coordinating architecture against the requirements for electronics and the associated concepts.

• You are responsible for requirements engineering at drive system level, deriving requirements and coordinating with architectures for electronics and the associated concepts.

• You are responsible for parts of the system development within projects and manage smaller system/pre-development projects, plan, follow the work packages and coordinate closely with the electronics specialist domains (software, hardware,...). .

• You will develop new drive system concepts and integrate them (functionally, electrically, thermally, ...) into the overall system and design them using system simulation (function, costs, ...).

• Your tasks will also include documenting the architectural design and the requirements of the drive electronics in Doors/Rhapsody.

• You work closely with international development teams.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor's/Masters Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering

Personality and working methods:

• Strong communication skills, confident demeanor, ability to work in large and intercultural teams, also with several projects at the same time, enjoy structuring complex relationships, good judgment, independent, structured, flexible and responsible

• You must be able to apply your systems engineering knowledge to solve problems and have a passion to develop yourself further in the art and science of systems engineering. Due to the broad spectrum of technology innovation projects, you must demonstrate an ability to rapidly gain understanding in new domains and provide meaningful analysis to support decision making.

Experience:

• 3-8 years of relevant professional experience in the field of electric drives with a focus on system development.

• Dealing with simulation tools (e.g.: Matlab/Simulink, PLECS, Saber).

• Ideally first experience with SYSML (Rhapsody) and MBSE methodology.

• Experience in writing and managing requirements in Doors or similar toolset.

• Know-how: In-depth knowledge of requirements development and architecture at system level, of electric drives and drive electronics, knowledge of ISO26262 Functional Safety and ASPICE-compliant development, and knowledge of hardware, software or power electronics design for electric drives are advantageous.

• Good to have:

o Technical Knowledge or experience in Electric Motors, Motor control algorithms

o Experience in high voltage systems (60V - 1000V)

o Experience in scripting eg Matlab, Python, etc is a positive.

o Experience in configuration management tools.
