Job Title: Bogie PrEM
Objective: Commits and manages QCD of assigned Bogie Projects & for Tenders.
Reporting to : Bogie PrEM Manager

Measurement Criteria:
100% on-time customer document & design specs delivery
100% on time submission and closure of customer open points
Closure of open-points or escalation: As per the project Dead lines
100% Compliance to Engineering Work Package (variation orders excluded)
Conduct / Plan / Drive Design reviews and Gate reviews as per Project Schedule
Responsibilities
Contribute Technically in executing Bogie Projects & Tenders.
Plan work load load and project plan for all the team associated in the project
Lead, Monitor, plan and drive Bogie Projects owning complete QCD.

Bogie Design parameters
Responsible to write and submit customer submissions and answer comments and queries. Discuss with Project organiation and customer to close all the points.
Interface with all components engineers and design engineering and industrial engineers to make engineering planning and technical challenges communication and conduct reviews.
Work closely with Bogie Tender Manager and deliver all the tender documents.
Prepare the costed BOM and delivery plan for tender submission.
Able to do indepth analysis of RFP/RFQ (Request for proposal or quotation) and prepare the clause by clause with clear complience matrix.
Responsble to pare the trade of matrix with existing bogie product portfolio and recommond best suited product for the tenders.
Defines and issues the Engineering Management Plan
Performing the transverse requirement allocations to the various subsystems in close collaboration with the relevant specialists
Work on Sustaing Activitues and lead the project to conclusion.
Work on Localiazation and Reference Library of Bogie, Interface with all stake holder to close action items and close the project with CBC approvals.
Work on the interfaces with Project core team and ensures Engineering internal interfaces.
Suggests the best compromise to reach or improve the committed QCD.
Manages all stake holders and their commitment for the project, to ensure the global convergence at Bogie & train level.
Finalizes, implements and updates Engineering risks mitigation plan based on project single list of issues process.
Communicates and escalates on critical paths linked to Engineering commitments during project Engineering meeting.
Work on Operational Quality in order to improve Project execution, with support of Engineering Quality Manager.
Manages the Global Scheduling Convergence, with support of Engineering Planning Manager
Escalates for arbitration between Engineering metiers and other Engineering project actors when required for respect of QCD commitments.
Guarantees that all necessary actions are deployed to take into account safety requirements.
Ensures and challenges workload estimation updated every two weeks at least.
Plans and leads design review deployment with support of Engineering quality manager and Train System, Design and Control Engineers.
Technical Competencies:
10+ years' experience in Bogie domain preferably from Railway industry

Patiently handle escalations and show case far sightness
