Job Title: Bogie Calc & FEA (Structure) Engineer
Purpose & Objective
Ensures the management of Bogie Design and calculations. This role will own complete QCD of all Calculation activities. Interface with CFT, Bogie PrEM, Industrial team and Design from Conceptualization to finalization of release.

100% Compliance to Engineering Work Package (variation orders excluded)
Contribute to closure of open points from design reviews on time
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Participates in the design definition
Performs FEA calculations. Critical view on hypotheses and calculations results. Writes calculation documents Ensures results presentation and argumentation in front of the Customer.
Writes bench tests specifications and follows the organization in charge of these tests.
Performs and delivers structural analysis with respect of QCD commitments
Understands Different Standards from EN, AAR , ISO And German way of working.
Connect with Global teams to support on Global Engineering activities
Prepare Models, Mesh and perform simulations as per Requirement from Project and also following internal ALSTOM mitier guidelines
Participate in Design and gate reviews
Knowledge & Experience:
BTECH / MTECH - 6+ Yrs of Experience. Mechanical engineer expertise, with FEA specialization. Knowledge techniques / Experience
Experience calculations of structure via the Finished Items method
Relevant experience in calculations of mechanic-welded structures and assemblies fatigue (3 years minimum)
Practice of structures Design & calculations software (appreciated: CATIA, ANSYS, HYPERWORKS)
Technical skills
Structures calculations in linear and non-linear statics
Vibratory analysis
Knowledge in thermomechanical calculation (asset)
Knowledge of structures dynamic calculations (asset)
