Greet customers and handle enquiries related to accident repairs, bodywork, and paint jobs.
Provide clear explanations of repair processes, costs, and timelines.
Keep customers updated on progress and expected completion dates.
Job Booking & Administration:
Schedule bodyshop appointments and manage workflow efficiently.
Open and close job cards, ensuring all details are accurate and up to date.
Prepare invoices and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.
Estimation & Insurance Liaison:
Prepare repair estimates using bodyshop estimating software.
Liaise with insurance companies and assessors for claim approvals.
Ensure all authorizations are received before repairs commence.
Coordination & Workflow Management:
Communicate effectively with the workshop, parts department, and technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.
Monitor repair progress and resolve any delays or issues.
Quality & Compliance:
Ensure vehicles are repaired to manufacturer and insurance standards.
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Good knowledge of vehicle body repair processes.
Familiarity with estimating systems (e.g., Audatex, Glass's, etc.) is an advantage.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork.
IT literacy (MS Office, DMS software).
