Greet customers, understand their repair requirements, and record details accurately.
Prepare repair/job estimates and explain the process, cost, and timeline to customers.
Coordinate with insurance companies and surveyors for claim approvals and documentation.
Open job cards and ensure all details are entered correctly in the system.
Keep customers informed about the progress of repairs and any additional work needed.
Conduct vehicle inspection upon delivery to ensure quality of repair and painting.
Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate unresolved issues.
Ensure timely invoicing and follow up on payments (including insurance settlements).
Maintain proper records of jobs, claims, and communications.
Support the bodyshop team in achieving revenue and customer satisfaction targets.
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma/Degree in Automobile Engineering or related field (preferred).
2-4 years of experience in a bodyshop/service advisor role, preferably in the automobile industry.
Good knowledge of vehicle body repair, painting processes, and insurance claim procedures.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Computer proficiency (MS Office, DMS/ERP systems).
Negotiation skills for dealing with surveyors and insurance companies.
