Job Title: Brand Manager - New Products, Optimum Nutrition Reports To: Marketing Manager, Optimum Nutrition Supervises: NA Work Location: Gurgaon, India Job Summary: This role will work closely with the Marketing Manager -Optimum Nutrition to develop key initiatives and drive goals dealing with new product development, launch planning and execution, while developing the existing non-whey product range through promotional management, advertising and branding. Responsible for the coordination of marketing programs planned for the non-whey range of Glanbia Performance Nutrition brand, \'Optimum Nutrition\' in India ensuring smooth and successful execution. Responsibilities: Managing the marketing inputs on the stage gate process for brand Optimum Nutrition Generate ideas and size the market for newer opportunities for brand Optimum Nutrition Leading packaging artwork development for the new product launches under Optimum Nutrition Generate awareness and trials for the non-whey range of Optimum Nutrition i.e. Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Pre-workout, Optimum Nutrition Creatine, Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Plant Protein, Optimum Nutrition BCAA Develop communication through strong insights on consumer usage occasions Support the development of advertising material across social media, ecommerce platforms and DTC in line with brand objectives and HQ guidelines Assistance in planning, execution and tracking of influencer marketing campaigns to drive advocacy for the non-whey range Increase search velocity for the non-whey range of Optimum Nutrition on the ecommerce platforms Creative brief development and working with BTL, PR, event management agencies to ensure timely execution of projects Work with sales and key customers to develop POS solutions and all sampling material requirements Leading the demos/sampling as required Working with third party providers on gift with purchase procurement, POS and other collateral Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to work up timelines for projects and ensuring on time delivery Ability to systematically coordinate projects with good sense of priority setting. Is persistent and resilient in the pursuit of objectives, willing to take on new challenges and works to resolve issues Results oriented with high level of initiative. Ability to analyse market trends, internal sales data and work within budget guidelines Good cross functional team building skills. Good understanding of how to work within brand guidelines Highly adept with Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter) Understanding of performance marketing Education/Experience: MBA from a Tier I or Tier II B school (IIMs, FMS, XLRI, SP Jain, JBIMS, NITTIE, SIBM, MDI, IIFT) Ideally, 4 + years brand management experience in FMCG/retail/consumer focused industries OR experience in working at a creative agency in an account management role Brand positioning & segmentation, Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint Trade marketing and merchandising experience Experience managing external agencies Experience in customer/consumer insights Experience in digital media Occupational Health & Safety Requirements: Understand and comply with the organisation OH&S Policy, procedures and legislative requirements relevant to the position.
