Job description:



We are looking for a skilled and experienced

Biryani Cook

to prepare authentic and flavorful biryanis. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with different regional styles (Hyderabadi, Lucknow, Ambur, Kolkata, etc.), an understanding of traditional cooking techniques, and the ability to maintain consistency, taste, and quality in every batch.

Key Responsibilities:



Prepare and cook various types of biryani (chicken, mutton, beef, fish, vegetable, etc.) using authentic methods and ingredients. Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment, ensuring proper taste and aroma. Marinate meat and manage the dum (steam-cooking) process perfectly. Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards at all times. Ensure timely preparation of biryani for service or catering orders. Monitor inventory levels and inform the supervisor about ingredient requirements. Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Follow portion control and food cost management procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:



Minimum

2-5 years of experience

as a Biryani Cook / Chef in a restaurant or catering setup. Strong knowledge of

Indian spices, rice cooking techniques

, and

dum-style

preparation. Ability to prepare biryani in large quantities without compromising on quality. Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team. Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
