Fire Sprinkler System Designer Key Responsibilities of the Role: \xc2\xb7 Responsible for all aspects of sprinkler design, including hydraulic calculations, shop drawing preparation, stock listing. \xc2\xb7 Design and layout of fire protection systems to meet LPC / NFPA / FM criteria \xc2\xb7 Coordinate piping layout with other trades. \xc2\xb7 Review and production of detailed fire protection Schematics such as Fire Sprinkler Protection, Foam enhanced Fire Protection, Gas Protection, Firewater Mist Protection, Insert Gas Protection & Special Hazard Fire Protection \xc2\xb7 Mentoring of junior BIM engineering staff. \xc2\xb7 Preparation of design drawings covering all aspects of mechanical elements. \xc2\xb7 Liaise and co-ordinate with members of the clients team. \xc2\xb7 Creation of installation/construction & fabrication drawings. \xc2\xb7 Attend technical / project meetings via teams/zoom calls. \xc2\xb7 Assist with the preparation of technical documentation for issue of tenders and construction. \xc2\xb7 Close out of all project items, and review any lessons learned. \xc2\xb7 Prepare hydraulic calculations and project submittal drawings \xc2\xb7 To produce 3D Deliverables using Revit. \xc2\xb7 Skills with AutoCAD, Revit and related software \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of AEC disciplines, MEP, architectural and structural standards \xc2\xb7 Should be able to work with other disciplines and work collaboratively with other designers, engineers and architects and clients to convert information into layout designs, drawings and models using REVIT and AutoCAD. \xc2\xb7 Decipher information received from various formats (sketches, BIM Execution Plans, Architectural drawings, \xc2\xb7 Demonstrate strong understanding and experience in delivering LOD 200 to 400 BIM model using BIM Software \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of BIM 360 will be an added advantage Essential Criteria for the Role: \xc2\xb7 Previous experience in the fire protection industry preferred. \xc2\xb7 Good written English and to be proficient at communication in English. Previous similar English work environment an advantage. \xc2\xb7 Competent working knowledge of applicable standards \xc2\xb7 Ability to read and effectively interpret architectural/engineering plans, schematics, design drawings, etc. \xc2\xb7 Must be Proficient in Revit and Autocad. \xc2\xb7 Experience in working on UK, Irish or European projects. \xc2\xb7 Good interpersonal and communication skills. \xc2\xb7 Some experience of working on a construction site will be advantageous however not mandatory \xc2\xb7 Proficient in Microsoft Office, Autocad and Revit MEP design software such as AutoSPRINK or similar software with a minimum of five years of experience modeling these systems, (Ability to use REVIT would be great advantage.) \xc2\xb7 Ability to extract BOQs and fabrication drawings from Revit. \xc2\xb7 Must be responsible, pay attention to detail personable, data-driven, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with solid organization and time management skills that lead to timely completion of projects \xc2\xb7 Experience in working on large commercial fire protection systems \xc2\xb7 Management of Project Schedule. \xc2\xb7 Degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering would be advantage. \xc2\xb7 Must be familiar with all Revit tools. \xc2\xb7 Must be capable of performing Clash detection using Navisworks and Revit interference check, export Clash reports, review clash reports etc. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of 2D Autocad software Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: \xe2\x82\xb9700,000.00 - \xe2\x82\xb98,000,000.00 per year Benefits:
