QAD is looking for a strong individual to join as Billing Specialist in our Order to Cash team at the Finance Shared Services Center based in Mumbai, India. This position will report to the Global Shared Services - Order to Cash Team Lead and be responsible for order to cash processing activities including customer setup, install base management, quotes, invoices, renewals, credits etc. This position will require excellent communication skills given this individual will be interacting with both internal (Sales and Customer Success) and external customers. This position requires effective communication across the deal desk, sales, renewals/customer success, legal, revenue and services team. This individual should possess critical thinking and be a quick learner with the ability to learn and apply policies/procedures like cross border invoicing/tax, revenue rules etc to the invoicing process. Should be able to assess the nature of customer transactions (contracts, invoicing requirements, local requirements etc) and work with other functions and/or team members to resolve any issues. This position will be responsible for supporting multiple regions and will require the need to work various shifts. What You\'ll Do Process and/or coordinate global customer orders, which include quotes, orders, invoices etc across all revenue streams. Closely work and interact with the Deals Desk, Sales, customers, renewals and Finance to assure orders are processed according to customer contracts, including but not limited to, checking product compatibility, creating order documents, generating quotes, performing research to resolve any customer order and installed base issues. Perform medium to complex problem-solving on orders. Generally, ensure the processing has a consistent look and feel to the customer. Responsible for performing additional activities such as customer setup, third party PO Requisition when sold to the customer, upload customer invoices to the customer\'s portal, process customer updates & evaluation orders (temporary license) Ensure service level agreements (SLA\'s) standards are met or exceeded. Timeliness and the quality of the SSC Invoicing output, among other SLA\'s will be monitored to ensure standard end-to-end business processes are followed. Review, research, prioritize and respond to sales and customer inquiries related to new business and renewal related topics Perform daily functions with QAD Values: Drive for Results, Do the Right Thing, Extreme Ownership, Commit to the Team and Challenge the status Quo. Use those values to build strong working relationships across QAD, including deal desk, sales, renewals/customer success, legal, revenue and services team Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting/Finance preferred. 2+ years in quote to cash process (i.e. customer order processing) a plus. Experience in Shared Services of a multi-national company preferred Expert in Google Sheet and other Google Suite, MS Excel. Knowledge of ERP systems, Salesforce CRM, CPQ and any other billing systems.. Ability to quickly learn new applications Excellent communication and problem solving skills. High energy with strong interpersonal skills when working with cross functional departments. Excellent critical thinking skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
