[Job Overview]:

• Sony is looking for a Bilingual Engineer (Sr. Software Engineer) to support Machine Learning / Web / Cloud activities for Digital Transformation activities.
• In this role include requirement analysis, co-ordination across teams and supporting technical activities.

[Primary Skills]:

• Technical (Bilingual Engineer)
• Understanding of Web Technologies (UI and Server Side)
• Basic Understanding of Cloud (AWS)
• Basic Understanding of CI/CD and Test Automation
• Understanding of ML Techniques
• Understanding of Data Science and Analytics
• Understanding of DevOps and MLOps
• Understanding of Agile and Software Engineering
• Must have spent initial years of career in Coding, Scripting, Testing and Designing

• Mandatory:
• Basic understanding of Japanese language (spoken and written)
• Ability to communicate on technical topics with Japanese counterparts and share with non-Japanese speakers
• Minimum JLPT N4 or equivalent is preferred

[Good to have Skills]:

• Ability to translate technical content, documents, etc into English as needed.
• Proactive and initiative taker, both when working independently and in collaboration with a team
• Good to have Project Mgmt. Experience in later part of career or should have inclination for the same.
