Key missions of the position:

• Ensure timely submission of offers as per mandate approval from Business Unit Division
• Drive cross functional team for optimization of costs to meet the target price/ improve Contract Margin
• Ensure Internal compliances as per Wabtec bid governance & guidelines

Main responsibilities:

• Launch customer RFQ internally to get CFT inputs for Techno-commercial offer
• Preparation of FCA (Full Cost Appraisal) up to final offer doing full validation of costs from all functions
• Present Tender Review to OC (Operation Committee) members and global Division for mandate Price / CM approval
• Drive the workshop between the CFT and Car builder on Value engineering
• Work closely with KAM on the customer engagement strategy
• Support/assist product management team to identify opportunities for new product development / introduction and localization
• Collaborate with the global team on global tenders
• Continuously work with the cross functional team to improve the CM to remain competitive to WIN the MUST WIN tenders
• Preparation of CBC for Project specific Terms & Conditions along with legal team
• Coordinate with the project team during the handover of bids WON
• Post-mortem analysis and updating in CRM
• Work with HOD in preparing business strategy presentations / STRAP / Budget & update in CRM
• Timely response to the customers for PO acknowledgement, ensuring the queries of the customers are diligently answered by functions, COC etc

Required Candidate Profile

Education/Training: Engineering Graduates will be preferred

Professional Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in Bid Management. This is applicable only for external candidate. Candidates applying within the organization should have minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in the current role.
