Define strategy and roadmap for system implementation and work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of goals and tactics
Design complex data handling structures that follow industry standards while maintaining careful balance between architecture requirements and specific client\xe2\x80\x99s needs
Run various tools evaluation and provide a suitable recommendation based on substantial and reliable market information
Apply advanced analytics to drive thoughtful decision making throughout the entire process and deliver a fully scalable platform
Keep thorough documentation on changes in design/structure as well as any bugs/glitches in the system and/or process
Mentor team members by guiding their efforts, providing learning opportunities, and overall leading them with insightful strategic decisions
Collaborate with BI Administrators, Developers and Analysts for successful development of BI reporting and analysis solutions.
Work with business groups and technical teams to develop and maintain data warehouse platform for BI reporting.
Required Skills and Knowledge
Advanced knowledge in data warehouse dimensional modelling. Hands-on knowledge with at least one Key BI Market tool (Dundas BI, SAP BO, Oracle BI, Tableau, MS Power BI, QlickView...)
Hands-on knowledge of enterprise repository tools, data modelling tools, data mapping tools, and data profiling tools
Experience in working in large cross boarder projects
Deep knowledge of architectures for business intelligence, analytics and data management solutions including databases, data warehouses and other storage resources
Mine large data sets to look for patterns and utilize predictive and advanced analytics
Write very complex SQL queries
Education + Experience
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science
Minimum 8 years related experience in leading strategies, designing approaches and understanding technologies for BI processes in large scale data management environments
Outstanding communication and documentation skills that foster professional relationships among internal and external team members as well as efficient work processes
Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
Must be organized and have the ability to manage projects of varying length
Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently
Must be a team player
