Job Description


Job Overview: We are actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our growing organization. With minimum 5 years of relevant experience, the ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing our agricultural supply chain operations, ensuring the timely procurement of raw materials from farmers and delivering high-quality finished agri products to retailers and customers, supporting our mission to reshape agriculture in India, and contributing to the revolutionizing of agriculture operations and ensuring the companys growth.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement a robust supply chain strategy aligned with the company\'s mission and goals, focusing on enhancing farmers\' profitability and ensuring the availability of essential agricultural resources.

2. Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.

3. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, monitor demand forecasts, and implement inventory optimization techniques to prevent stock-outs and reduce carrying costs.

4. Logistics and Distribution: Manage the logistics and distribution network, ensuring efficient transportation of agri-outputs to various locations, including from remote farming areas.

5. Cost Management: Identify cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain, analyze cost structures, and optimize processes to reduce expenses while maintaining quality.

6. Risk Management: Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address potential disruptions in the supply chain, such as weather-related issues or transportation challenges.

7. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the team\'s success.

Qualifications:

1. Degree in Supply Chain Management, AgriBusiness, or a related field

2. Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the agriculture or ag-tech industry.

3. Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, best practices, and emerging trends.

4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

5. Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools.

6. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to a fastpaced, dynamic environment.
