Job Description

Position Overview:



The Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of beverage operations within the restaurant(s), ensuring the highest standards of service, profitability, product quality, and guest satisfaction. The role involves designing creative beverage menus, managing inventory and cost controls, training staff, and ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:1. Beverage Operations & Management



Develop and implement innovative beverage menus (cocktails, mocktails, wines, spirits, non-alcoholic drinks) aligned with restaurant concept and trends. Ensure smooth day-to-day beverage service operations across outlets. Maintain quality standards in beverage preparation, presentation, and service. Collaborate with the culinary team to create complementary food and beverage pairings.

2. Financial & Inventory Control



Monitor beverage cost percentages and control wastage and pilferage. Maintain accurate stock records, manage inventory, and ensure timely ordering. Negotiate with suppliers and vendors for best pricing and product quality. Prepare monthly beverage performance reports and analyze sales trends.

3. Guest Experience



Ensure prompt, courteous, and efficient beverage service to guests. Handle guest feedback and resolve any beverage-related complaints. Promote signature drinks and upsell premium beverages.

4. Team Management & Training



Train bartenders and service staff on mixology, service standards, and product knowledge. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback. Maintain high morale and ensure teamwork among the bar and restaurant staff.

5. Compliance & Safety



Ensure all beverage storage, handling, and service comply with health and safety standards. Oversee licensing requirements related to alcoholic beverage service. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all beverage areas.

Qualifications & Experience:



Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management / Hospitality or related field. Minimum 4-6 years of experience in F&B or bar management, preferably in fine dining or premium restaurants. Strong knowledge of spirits, wines, cocktails, and modern mixology. Proven experience in cost control, menu engineering, and supplier management.

Excellent leadership and communication skills. Creativity and flair for beverage innovation. Strong analytical and financial acumen. Guest-oriented mindset and passion for service excellence. Knowledge of POS systems and beverage inventory software.

Work Environment:



Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays. Fast-paced, service-driven restaurant environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
