Introduction: The role includes the responsibility to permission and administer Barclays Investment Bank\'s clients and Barclays internal Sales/Traders to trade on BARX trading platforms across multiple asset classes and support any related client issues. The work involves static data maintenance across proprietary and vendor applications, users, account and product on boarding, support technical issues for BARX trading platform across asset classes, client certificate maintenance, MIS management, system monitoring and maintenance, handling production issues, project work and internal process document management. It also involves support to external clients using Barclays Live Portal. What will you be doing . Account enablement for internal and external clients . Ongoing administration and maintenance of internal and external client user accounts . Technical support for external and internal clients o Application installation and configuration o Resolution of connectivity issues with the BARX GUI . Change and Incident management and escalation to both IT and Business groups . Close collaboration with business/sales teams of various asset classes . Understanding of the various business areas to ensure concise assistance and feedback to business and stakeholders . Escalation and management of issues passed to 2nd line teams . Document management (process documents/training manuals, etc.) . Feedback to the product team for system enhancement requests and client requests . Project work for data maintenance, new initiatives, etc. . Comprehensive knowledge of Technical/Application Support Operational Processes, Tools and Service Metrics/KPIs What we\'re looking for: . Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent year\'s work experience . 5+ years of working experience, preferably 3+ years of banking/finance industry experience . 2+ years of experience in a desktop support team supporting Microsoft Windows Desktop environments. . 2+ years of experience in dealing with the setup of network connectivity solutions between client sites. . 2+ years of experience of supporting electronic execution systems. Skills that will help you in the role: . Ability to multi-task to work on multiple projects along with day to day functions . Communicating and presenting data effectively . Bloomberg terminal administration . Java technologies . TCP/IP networking configuration .
