Role Summary



The

Bartender

is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, engaging with guests, maintaining bar cleanliness, and ensuring a safe, friendly, and efficient bar environment. This role requires excellent beverage knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Key ResponsibilitiesBeverage Preparation



Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and specialty drinks. Follow standard recipes and presentation guidelines. Recommend drinks based on guest preferences. Maintain consistency in taste, appearance, and portion sizes.

Guest Service



Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to guests. Take drink and food orders accurately. Engage with guests, answer questions, and make recommendations. Handle guest complaints politely and efficiently.

Bar Operations



Set up and stock the bar with necessary supplies (liquor, garnishes, glassware, etc.). Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times. Ensure proper operation and cleaning of bar equipment. Process payments and handle cash or POS transactions accurately.

Inventory & Stock Control



Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor of shortages. Conduct daily par checks and assist in stock rotation. Reduce wastage by following portion control and proper storage practices.

Safety & Compliance



Ensure compliance with local alcohol service laws and company policies. Follow hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards. Practice responsible alcohol service and monitor guest intoxication levels. Maintain cleanliness of glassware, tools, and workstations.

Teamwork & Coordination



Coordinate with barbacks, servers, and kitchen staff for smooth service. Attend daily briefings and training sessions when required. Support colleagues during busy periods.

Skills & Requirements



Experience as a bartender (preferred). Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wines, and bar techniques. Excellent communication and guest-service skills. Ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment. Basic math and POS handling skills. Good personal grooming and a professional attitude. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Certification in responsible alcohol service (if applicable).
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
