Thalassa Greek Taverna Goa is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic

Bartender

to join our vibrant nightlife team. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, professionalism, and a genuine passion for hospitality. You will be responsible for crafting exceptional cocktails, providing engaging service, and ensuring each guest enjoys an unforgettable bar experience in a lively and dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and with flair. Accurately take guest orders, offer personalized drink recommendations, and ensure timely service. Create and present classic, signature, and innovative cocktails consistent with Thalassa's brand standards. Set up and maintain bar mise-en-place before, during, and after service. Uphold the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in compliance with FSSAI and Excise regulations. Verify guest identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements. Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and ensure proper stock rotation. Handle POS transactions and cash management accurately and responsibly. Collaborate closely with servers, hosts, and the kitchen team to ensure seamless operations. Address guest feedback with professionalism and ensure complete guest satisfaction. Adhere to company policies, grooming standards, and all bar operation protocols.

Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum

1 year of experience

as a Bartender in a nightclub, lounge, or high-volume bar. Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wines, and beer service. Excellent mixology, garnishing, and beverage presentation skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-oriented approach. Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer operations. Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and deliver consistent service during peak hours. Certification in bartending or mixology is preferred. Must meet the

legal age requirement

for alcohol service as per the Goa Excise laws.
