The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to restaurant guests in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner. The role requires strong knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to maintain a clean and well-stocked bar area while upholding all safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and take drink orders in a timely manner.
Prepare and serve beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) according to standard recipes.
Suggest cocktails, mocktails, and food pairings to enhance the guest experience.
Check identification to ensure guests meet legal drinking age requirements.
Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the bar and surrounding areas.
Keep the bar stocked with garnishes, glassware, alcohol, mixers, and supplies.
Handle cash, credit card, and billing transactions accurately.
Monitor guest behavior and consumption to ensure responsible service of alcohol.
Comply with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to deliver smooth service.
Upsell premium drinks, cocktails, and promotions to maximize revenue.
Follow opening and closing procedures of the bar.
Requirements & Skills
Proven experience as a Bartender in a restaurant, lounge, or bar.
Knowledge of mixology, cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
Positive attitude, team player, and professional appearance.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
