Bartender Role Overview

A Bartender prepares and serves drinks, engages with customers, and ensures the bar runs smoothly while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. They balance creativity with responsibility, delivering excellent service and adhering to safety and legal standards.

Key Responsibilities

Drink Preparation & Service

Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Follow standard recipes and maintain consistency in taste and presentation. Suggest cocktails or pairings based on customer preferences.

Customer Interaction

Greet guests warmly and build rapport. Take orders accurately and provide recommendations. Handle customer complaints or requests professionally.

Bar Operations

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area. Restock bar supplies and manage inventory. Follow opening and closing procedures.

Compliance & Safety

Verify customer age and ensure responsible alcohol service. Adhere to health, hygiene, and safety regulations. Monitor intoxication levels and act responsibly.Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of mixology and drink recipes. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
