Oversee all phases of banquet functions, including setup, execution, and cleanup, ensuring they align with client and company standards.
Staff supervision:
Train, schedule, and supervise banquet staff (e.g., servers, bartenders), providing direction and feedback to ensure high performance.
Guest services:
Greet guests, respond to inquiries and issues, and ensure client needs and satisfaction levels are met throughout the event.
Logistics and coordination:
Coordinate with other departments, such as culinary and housekeeping, to ensure seamless execution of events.
Operational oversight:
Manage the setup of tables, chairs, and equipment, and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for banquet areas.
Quality control:
Ensure food and beverage service quality meets established standards, and monitor the overall flow of the event.
Administrative tasks:
Assist with inventory management, prepare reports, and help with payroll and other administrative duties.
