Identify and target potential corporate clients for banquet sales (MICE - Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Events).
Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate decision-makers, event planners, travel agencies, and event management companies.
Prepare and present customized banquet packages based on client requirements.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and event terms to close deals.
Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and revenue goals.
Account Management & Client Servicing
Act as a single point of contact for corporate clients from inquiry to post-event feedback.
Coordinate with internal teams (kitchen, operations, event planners) to ensure smooth execution of events.
Conduct site inspections and walk throughs for potential clients.
Follow up on client feedback to ensure repeat business and referrals.
Market Research & Strategy
Monitor competitor offerings, pricing trends, and market demand.
Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to generate leads.
Suggest innovative sales strategies to increase banquet revenue.
Reporting & Administration
Maintain a database of clients, leads, and event bookings.
Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports and revenue forecasts.
Ensure timely billing, payment follow-ups, and closure of accounts.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
3-6 years of experience in banquet/corporate sales within hospitality, hotels, gaming, or event industry.
Strong network of corporate clients, event agencies, and travel partners.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet aggressive sales targets.
Knowledge of banquet/event operations and F&B services is a plus.
