Job Description

he Banquet Captain is responsible for supervising banquet service operations during events such as weddings, conferences, meetings, and social functions. The role ensures high standards of service, smooth coordination with kitchen and service staff, and complete guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:



Supervise and coordinate banquet service staff during events Ensure proper setup of banquet halls as per event order (BEO) Brief service staff about menu, service style, and event flow Coordinate with kitchen, stewarding, and housekeeping departments Monitor service quality and guest satisfaction throughout the event Handle guest requests and resolve service-related issues promptly Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and company policies Maintain discipline, grooming, and punctuality of service staff Oversee clearing, closing, and post-event arrangements Assist in inventory control of banquet equipment and supplies

Qualifications & Skills:



Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management (preferred) Minimum 2-5 years experience in banquet or F&B service Strong leadership and team management skills Good communication and interpersonal abilities Knowledge of banquet service styles and etiquette Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
