The Bank Controller, Accounting Policy and Reporting (BCAPR) organization is a global team located within Bangalore (India), London (UK) and New York/Brooklyn/Delaware (U.S). The team is responsible for a variety of functions; including, the legal entity controllership for several of the firm\'s major legal entities (the Lead Bank, Parent Company and Intermediary Holding Company), advisory to business and governance of regulated firmwide Interentity policies, establishing global accounting and disclosure policies, and the submission of the firm\'s consolidated quarterly and annual financial statements to the SEC on Forms 10-Q and 10-K.

The Bank Controllers team is responsible for the Legal Entity Controller (LEC) functions for JPMorgan Chase Bank N.A. (Lead Bank), JPMorgan Chase & Co (Parent Co) and JPMorgan Chase Holdings LLC (JPMCH), including on-going capital monitoring and adequacy. The group is also accountable for the Firmwide Legal Entity (LE) strategy and simplification agenda.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Effectively engage with LOB Legal Entity (LE) simplification contacts and the Inter-entity Analysis Group (IAG) to facilitate execution of LE simplification commitments
  • Lead preparation and review of monthly LE metrics reporting
  • Assist with the development of the annual LE elimination book of work across all LOBs
  • Support automation of key business as usual deliverables including LER criteria assessments to streamline/enhance controls for Resolution Plan deliverables
  • Liase with LE contacts to ensure LE elimination status/timelines are accurately maintained in the Request Management System (RMS) and Global Entity Management System (GEMS)
  • Review and approve LE related modifications requests in GEMS/RMS
  • Support UAT testing for GEMS/RMS enhancements
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
  • 5-6 years Financial reporting and regulatory policy experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge of MS Access and/or Business intelligence tools
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to the team objectives
  • Ability to identify and communicate issues in a timely manner
