Plan, prepare, and bake a variety of breads, cakes, cookies, pastries, and desserts.
Develop new recipes and seasonal menu items aligned with brand standards and customer trends.
Measure and mix ingredients accurately according to recipes and production schedules.
Operate and maintain baking equipment (ovens, mixers, proofers, etc.) safely and efficiently.
Monitor product quality, freshness, and presentation to maintain consistency and appeal.
Manage ingredient inventory, order supplies, and minimize waste.
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
Train and supervise junior bakers or kitchen assistants as needed.
Collaborate with management to plan production schedules and special orders.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace at all times.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience as a Bakery Chef, Pastry Chef, or Baker (typically 2-5 years).
Culinary degree or certification in Baking & Pastry Arts (preferred but not required).
Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient functions, and pastry design.
Creativity and passion for developing unique baked goods and desserts.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Team-oriented, reliable, and detail-focused.
