Azure Data Modeler

Job Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore / Chennai / Noida/ Gurgaon / Pune / Indore / Mumbai

Roles:

• Develop and design conceptual, logical, and physical data models using ERwin Data Modeler.

• Collaborate with business analysts, database administrators, and application developers to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models.

• Perform data analysis and profiling to identify data quality issues and suggest improvements.

• Define and document data standards, naming conventions, and data integration strategies.

• Conduct data modeling reviews and provide recommendations for improving performance, scalability, and maintainability.

• Ensure compliance with data governance policies and procedures.

• Participate in data modeling tool selection, implementation, and maintenance.

• Create and maintain data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and other related documentation.

• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data modeling and database design.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data modelers or other team members.

• At least 3-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 relevant experience in Azure Stack and 8+ years as Data Modeller

• Proven experience as a data modeler with expertise in ERwin tool.

• Strong knowledge of data modeling concepts, techniques, and best practices.

• Proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).

• Familiarity with data warehousing and dimensional modeling.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with complex data structures.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills, ability to work directly with client and to lead junior team members

• Extensive experience in ERwin tool

• Microsoft Azure BI Stack (ADF, Azure Databricks)

• Big Data Technologies, Relational & Non-relataional database knowledge

• Experience in Azure Analytics and DevOps

• Any Cloud Platforms, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Tools

• Data Visualization Tools

• Experience with data modeling in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP) is a plus.

• Certifications in data modeling or database administration are desirable.

• Being versatile with multiple tools can help you adapt to different environments and client preferences.

• Any Version Control Systems

• Visio or similar tool experience
