Roles:
Develop and design conceptual, logical, and physical data models using ERwin Data Modeler.
Collaborate with business analysts, database administrators, and application developers to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models.
Perform data analysis and profiling to identify data quality issues and suggest improvements.
Define and document data standards, naming conventions, and data integration strategies.
Conduct data modeling reviews and provide recommendations for improving performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Ensure compliance with data governance policies and procedures.
Participate in data modeling tool selection, implementation, and maintenance.
Create and maintain data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and other related documentation.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data modeling and database design.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data modelers or other team members.
Responsibilities:
At least 3-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 relevant experience in Azure Stack and 8+ years as Data Modeller
Proven experience as a data modeler with expertise in ERwin tool.
Strong knowledge of data modeling concepts, techniques, and best practices.
Proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
Familiarity with data warehousing and dimensional modeling.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with complex data structures.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, ability to work directly with client and to lead junior team members
Must have:
Extensive experience in ERwin tool
Microsoft Azure BI Stack (ADF, Azure Databricks)
Big Data Technologies, Relational & Non-relataional database knowledge
Experience in Azure Analytics and DevOps
Any Cloud Platforms, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Tools
Data Visualization Tools
Nice to have:
Experience with data modeling in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP) is a plus.
Certifications in data modeling or database administration are desirable.
Being versatile with multiple tools can help you adapt to different environments and client preferences.
