Job Description

Azure Architect Location: Bangalore/Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Jaipur, Indore Experience- 10 years - 14 Years .In this role, you will be responsible for Azure cloud computing architecture and computing strategies. You will work closely with application, Network, Security, Data, Operations & DevOps teams to ensure the smooth running of cloud-based applications, platform/infrastructure & services. Responsibilities: Plan, design, develop and execute Azure cloud platform/infrastructure solutions Collaborating with the application teams for ensuring suitable translation of architectural solutions into robust and effective implementation by the platform team Identifying the application teams requirements, analyze the alternatives, and conduct solution recommendations related to the Azure platform, resources, security and network configurations Define an Azure platform solution using architectural design principles based on application requirements Provide implementation guidance to Azure platform and application teams based on best practices throughout the lifecycle of application hosting/migration to cloud Support application solution architect in creation of business solution by recommending right Azure technology platform/infrastructure Support cloud migration efforts with advanced Azure cloud-based solutions Contribute to technical cloud strategy Address high-risk issues Support Azure platform team in Deployment, Operations and Monitoring of Azure platform/resources including VM instances, databases, storage & others Support Azure platform team in monitoring and optimizing the performance, scalability, reliability and availability of the Azure platform/environment Support Azure platform team in troubleshooting and resolution of issues with the Azure infrastructure, resources Collaborate with Azure platform and other IT teams to ensure the smooth operation of the overall Azure platform/environment Essential Skills/Requirements: 5+ years of experience in Azure technical architect role using service and hosting solutions such as Azure cloud IaaS, PaaS and SaaS platforms Hands on experience in Azure cloud native architecture design, implementation of distributed, fault tolerant enterprise platform and applications Knowledge of current and emerging Azure cloud technologies, native/3rd party tools, and system architectures Good knowledge of all phases of Azure infrastructure and concepts such as VPC, subnets, TGW, routing, security groups, storage, database, VM, IAM, security, encryption, replication and DR. Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD as well as agile tools and processes (native and 3rd party tools) Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems Strong problem-solving and communication skills Desirable Skills/Experience: 2+ years of experience in solution architect role using service and hosting solutions such as Azure cloud IaaS, PaaS and SaaS platforms Experience in workload migration to Azure cloud (Refactor, Replatform, Repurchase, Rehost, Relocate) Experience in hybrid cloud deployments (Azure, AWS, on-premise) DevOps experience in planning, coding, building, testing and release of services
