Cloud Security Architect (Azure)
This a customer facing role with an even split between pre-sales and implementation.
We are on the hunt for a talented Cloud Architect to manage our client’s cloud architecture and position in cloud environments. You will play a strategic role in maintaining all cloud systems including the front-end platforms, servers, storage, and management networks.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cloud computing and technology systems, as well as experience designing and transferring applications to the cloud. You should have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills to effectively share your knowledge.

Responsibilities:

Create a well-informed cloud strategy and manage the adaption process.
Regularly evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software.
Develop and organize cloud systems.
Work closely with IT security to monitor the company's cloud privacy.
Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner.
Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques including bulk application transfers into the cloud.
Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company.
Cloud infrastructure design and develop detailed architecture models to host test, development, and production environments
Plan for system and application migration(s) to the cloud, adhering to technical and business requirements
Develop and document technical designs for integration and implementation of new cloud applications and systems
Optimize cost of cloud solutions, infrastructure footprint.
Communicate effectively through strong written and oral communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
Integrate with non-cloud technologies and third-party vendor products/services
Experience with highly available and fault-tolerant enterprise and web-scale software deployments
You will join a project team and focus on adding hands-on technical expertise, ensuring outcomes meet the highest technical and agile standards.
You will act as the SME on Cloud and related technologies for the project delivery team. Strong experience in a multi-disciplined team is critical as is your ability to clearly communicate complex technology solutions.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or relevant field.
15+ years' experience designing, executing and supporting IT cloud solutions.
Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work.
Excellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing trends.
Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated cloud reports to management and other IT development partners.

Azure Specific:
Expertise implementing security solutions in public cloud IaaS/PaaS
Act as a subject matter expert in Microsoft security technologies, providing guidance and direction on best practices for the protection of information.
Implement POCs
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of information security activities including access management, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, infrastructure and regulatory compliance with privacy laws.
Perform risk assessments, present recommendations for risk mitigation options and implement accordingly.
Oversee administration and policy planning to reduce the risk of security breach. Provides standards and governance oversight for the enterprise.
Proficiency implementing security solutions in zero-trust networks
Proficiency in several security technologies including data loss prevention, encryption, cloud access security brokers, identity and access management, micro-segmentation, multi-factor authentication, endpoint protection, SIEM and perimeter defenses
Analyze Azure Active Directory workbooks / reporting, Audit logs
Experience with implementation in hybrid and multi cloud environments.
Communicate effectively through strong written and oral communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences

Key Skills:
Good understanding with Azure IaaS and PaaS
Proficient with Azure AD, RBAC, MFA, ADDS, B2B, B2C.
Experience with Azure backup and site recovery
Experience with Azure Security center, Azure Monitor, Azure Sentinel
Experience with Azure Networking and configurations.
Experience with ARM templates, PowerShell.
Strong experience with Linux, Windows.
