Role Overview: The AVP, Learning Delivery Asia will play an important role in the realignment and globalization of the Operation training Delivery function. Responsible for Training Delivery, this leader will ensure a strong execution of learning interventions and initiatives as well as facilitate a 1st class experience for all learners. Reporting to VP, Learning Delivery, this role will manage a 59 person organization comprised of their direct report team 3 Learning Delivery Managers, 56 Training facilitators, and 30 rotation training resources. As part of the Training & Performance Realignment, this role will have end to end oversight across Asia on training deliver for (Fraud, Customer Solutions, Consumer Banking, Commercial, Shared Service). The AVP, Learning Delivery is the SME in platform / process curriculum development and training delivery. They will work with Learning Relationship Managers to deliver the programmatic needs of the business. This role is also responsible for all functional, professional skills and process training needs of the Asia employees aligned with the objectives and strategy of the company. Furthermore, role will continually assess effectiveness of established training content, programs and delivery channels all functions within Asia. Essential Responsibilities: Lead, inspire and develop training organization in Asia, supporting multiple functions ((Fraud, Customer Solutions, Consumer Banking, Commercial, Shared Service). This includes partnering with the Talent Development team on trainer assessment and certification. Ensure excellence in delivery of functional and professional skills courses, including ILT & WBT courses. Ensure training programs are current and employees are trained in accordance with Synchrony regulatory requirements Provide strategic insight in the creation and execution of training & learning curricula and calendar for the Asia team Support implementation of global training procedures on-site Partner closely with cross functional teams to identify process/training opportunities and build training solutions Facilitate Leadership and Development training courses for mid and senior level Leadership Manage external vendors for voice & communication training and behavioral courses Manage to established budget Qualifications/ Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree Minimum 5+ years of training, facilitation and/or management experience. Minimum 5+ years of experience in Call Center environment Minimum 5+ years of experience in supplier management Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Prior experience with SYF call center operating systems such as FDR, Collections Workstation, Genius, etc. Strong process and change management skills Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire and develop large teams Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in a matrix environment Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities with little supervision Strong facilitation and presentation skills Outstanding oral and written communication skills Cross-Functional
