Role PurposeDrives the direction and delivery of major programmes to achieve strategic objectives and transformational change.Role Responsibilities Group-wide responsibility for storage and backups Strategy, design, engineering and operations for storage and backup Deliver strategic storage offerings for Private and public Cloud Develop storage automation and orchestration capabilities Optimise licensing and investment in storage and backup infrastructure Regulatory compliance across storage capabilities Leadership Responsibilities Part of Foundation Services Leadership Team Manage a large team of internal and scale partner resources operating 24x7 Cultivate key relationships with senior business stakeholders Develop team skills and capabilities, manage team performance reviews Critical Deliverables Service stability and improvement initiatives Operational resiliency Monthly KPI service Reporting Operational 24x7 rotas and cover Knowledge artefacts and runbooks for all services Service and technology roadmaps Technical recovery plans and testing Impact Transform team to service focused delivery High levels of stability and availability of services Grow the partnership with Product Engineering owners Drivimg budget efficiency, cost synergy and growth initiatives Reduced MTTR and service impact Key KPIs MTTR for services (Detection, Response & Resolution) Coverage and visibility of services health checks Automation of recovery and operational tasks Successful/unsuccessful changes implemented Problem tasks and aged tickets Security and IT control compliance Minimum Requirements Degree or equivalent Project management qualification and significant post qualification experience Extensive experience in project or programme management, could have previous portfolio experience Extensive people management experience.
