Process Overview*

Employee Experience Technology team provides technology solutions to support the Chief Administrative Office, Legal, Audit and Global Human Resources Organizations. The key functions performed are master planning, vendor management, business engagement, application design & development, and application life-cycle planning. The CAO Group is responsible for strategic and operational priorities that support our company's eight lines of business.

Serve in the role of a Solution Architect within Employee Experience Technology organization. We are seeking an experienced architect who can communicate technology solutions to leaders, technical peers and business partners via roadmaps, conceptual diagrams, and solution documents. You should be thoughtful and possesses both technical depth and strong interpersonal skills to partner with internal and external teams to develop scalable, flexible, and cutting-edge solutions. You will be expected to collaborate with peers within the company to define and execute the Employee Experience technical vision

Responsibilities*

• Provide and communicate technology strategy & solutions across different audiences including technical (developers, engineers & other architects), managerial, business executives and/or vendors.
• Ensures architecture is flexible, modular, and meets enterprise requirements for security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with business and technology organizations to align technology strategy to business strategy and help define architecture that modernize our technology, optimize business processes, and enable the business to compete in the evolving emerging environment
• Works with Product Owners to define roadmap for the next generation platform implementation
• Contribute to driving architecture strategy to keep it aligned with industry advancement and new technologies.
• Produce detailed technical design to accomplish client requirements.
• Develop overall implementation strategy with internal and external technical resources and drive the solution and integration efforts.
• Provide current best practices and alternatives as part of the technical specification document.
• Participate in performing Proof of Concept (POC) for various upcoming technologies to fit in business requirement.

Foundational Skills*

• Translating complex concepts into multiple architectural "views" aimed at varying audiences.
• Broad based IT knowledge and experience (Hardware, Financial Software, Middleware, Databases).
• Interpreting business needs and applying innovative technology solutions.
• Governance and oversight processes for managing alignment of change to strategic goals.
• Strong in-depth working knowledge of Angular and web technologies.
• Proficient with Java / WebSphere and .NET / IIS.
• Create and maintain architectural documentation for all applications and components within an application.
• Excellent Communication skills, Strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work to deadlines, under pressure
