In this role, you will:

This role will support several functions on the Assessment Planning Integration & Execution (APIE) team, including:

  • Support New Business Initiatives (NBI) program, conducting product review assessments

  • Support strategy and execution of TISRM (Technology and Information Security Risk Management) Coverage Plan

  • Support TISRM specific functions including APIE exam management, quality assurance reviews of TISRM owned policies (ensuring

alignment to operational risk policies and procedures), managing internal TISRM desktop procedures, driving template and communication.

Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in Risk management, control/process evaluations, internal audit or risk consulting
  • Experience with performing technology, information security, and/or information management risk reviews for new product launches, product modifications and product retirements
    • Lead product assessment reviews, working across operational risk identifying potential product risks, and challenging product stakeholders as needed
    • Assist in strategy and execution of comprehensive coverage plan, using a risk-based approach to guide the organization in performing oversight through assessments, monitoring and testing
    • Develop, implement, and monitor risk-based programs to identify, assess, and mitigate any operational risk that arises from inadequate or failed internal processes, people, systems, or external events
    • Assist in professional practice activities including exam management, Quality Assurance activities, and policy/procedure management
    • Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of procedures, processes, systems, and internal controls
    • Report findings and develop business cases to influence executive management, management committee member or head of business on the need for controls to mitigate risk
    • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
    • Lead project or virtual teams and mentor less experienced staff
  • CISA/CRISC/CISM/CISSP
Desired Qualifications:
    • Strong background in audit or risk professional standards, policy and methodology, with preferred experience in regulated financial services environment
    • Strong understanding of risks and controls with the ability to identify risks and articulate risks in clear and concise manner, with preferred experience with product risks
    • Ability to lead strategy, planning and forecasting activities, working across all levels of the organization to ensure business requirements are met
    • Good attention to detail; strong analytical skills
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure and change
    • Provide operational risk expertise and consulting to complex business units for initiatives with high risk, generally spanning multiple business lines
    • Experience in leading professional practices efforts, including exam management, Quality Assurance and policy/procedure management
Job Expectations:
    • Develop and update coverage plan methodology and guidance to align to evolving practices and innovation initiatives
    • Assist with coverage plan program inclduing bi-annual planning, managing activity entry and quality, and managing change request process
    • Identiy and contribute to the development of continues improvement opportunities (including efficiency)
    • Support the preparation of dashbaords and reports (e.g., Quarterly Business Review and Internal & External Stakeholders presentation)
    • Lead professional practice efforts, including exam management, QA, policy/procedure management
