In Finance Change, we work across the entire CFO division to ensure that we implement the strategic design and implementation of any major changes to our processes and systems. In partnership with our key collaborators, we work to create innovative business solutions using our deep functional expertise. We aim to deliver strategic initiatives using leading project management and business analysis as we pursue our goal of protecting and enhancing shareholder value through optimizing the use of our financial resources. The Project The Group Disclosures F1 (“GD F1”) project is a multi-year reporting initiative part of the Core Finance Systems (“CFS”) program which has been setup to address problems that have been identified in the Group Finance process flow from the General Ledger through to the Core Consolidation module. The group finance reporting results store delivered by GD F1 will have to answer to the growing demand for clarity and accountability by Regulators and Shareholders, reduce the risk of data inconsistencies caused by disparate data repositories and increase the agility to respond to new/future regulations/requirements. The “GD F1” project is intended to build a target financial reporting results store that would provide an adequate level of performance and efficiency for integrated reporting and analytical capabilities to support Group Reporting and Disclosures. In particular:

  • Be able to produce the data for disclosure reports and make them available on the Finance Portal so that legacy applications can be decommissioned
  • Provide a foundation for future reporting requirements to be migrated on to the F1 application platform
  • Opportunity to work with pioneering change programs which comprises of Mandated Regulatory Changes, transformational Program and Upgradation of current Infrastructure
  • Involvement in the complete project cycle of analysis, development, testing, implementation and launch
  • Extremely high learning curve to analyse and provide solutions in different regulatory reporting areas related to Balance Sheet, Off Balance Sheet, P&L, Trades, Non Trades and many other reporting requirements
  • Constantly changing regulation allows the incumbent to work on projects which are dynamic and have new sets of data challenges to resolve
  • Very good exposure to the entire program and an opportunity to work across levels with diverse groups within the Group Finance franchise and teams such as LEAR, LESR, FAM, IT, GFR and other Cross Functional teams

You will be part of a dynamic team comprising of Business & Process Analysts focusing on deciphering various Data and Architectural components of the Group Finance architecture. The stakeholders you will interact with range from the teams that perform the Financial & Regulatory Reporting functions of the Bank as a Group and those that manage the applications like Applications Support and Technology teams and lastly other Business Analyst teams driving other Strategic Change programs. Your skills and experience

To excel in this role, you must have:
  • 10 to 15 years of experience working in a Change organization having exposure and a good understanding of accounting, financial/regulatory requirements and worked extensively with users in these areas
  • Having strong business analytical skills and logical reasoning, and has the ability to challenge the business on status quo
  • Having experience in gathering vital details to craft and document Controls, compliant to applicable frameworks
  • Who has exposure to the SOX 404 and other control frameworks
  • Has the experience in addressing senior stakeholders
  • Proven experience in Understanding and Documenting ‘As is’ and ‘To be’ Process Flows
  • Has experience of working in a full cycle project implementation
  • Must have experience of working with onshore/offshore models
  • Has prior experience of working with some/all of the below (additional advantage):
  • Reporting tools (e.g., QLIK, Axiom)
  • Analytical tools (e.g., OBIEE, Tableau)
  • Big Data projects / technologies
  • General Ledger systems, Financial Consolidation tools
  • ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) related projects

  • Possessing a University degree or higher in business, finance, accounting or IT
