Roles & Responsibilities:
This role will be a key contributor to the design and implementation of back end and front end solutions with emphasis on microservices and polyglot application patterns on AWS cloud. She/he will ensure overall execution of enterprise grade application build leveraging serverless technology stack. She/he will be responsible for developing, deploying, operating and monitoring containerized applications on container platforms in public and private clouds, supporting a wide variety of technologies across Moody’s Investor Services. Demonstrate robust debugging skills, and enforcing strict standards for code quality on Java,SpringBoot, AngularJS, Angular 2.0/4.0 and React libraries. Experienced developing subscription based applications requiring granular application permissioning and role based security.
Job Knowledge and Responsibilities:

• Hands-on experience developing systems that leverage multiple AWS services including CloudFormation, Lambda, Python, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB/ any NoSQL, Relational Database Service (RDS), Glue Catalog & ETLs, Athena and QuickSight for data management and analysis.
• Experience working in product delivery teams. (SaaS, Hi-Tech)
• Working knowledge of integration patterns and CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrate robust debugging skills, and enforcing strict standards for code quality on python (or similar) libraries.
• Ability to work in agile environments with a global setting.
• Proficiency in python and java for serverless architecture in AWS (Lambda).
• Proficiency in spark and AWS Glue for big data processing.
• Expert-level knowledge of SQL, Python, R, or similar language used for data engineering.
• Experience with automation and event driven implementations.
• Display the highest level of personal integrity, initiative and teaming abilities
• Deploying applications in Elastic Kubernetes Services in AWS
• Development of microservices and API development

• BS/BA, (Education may be substituted for increased years in experience on a year-for-year basis)
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in IT industry in relevant area, with at least 2 years of experience supporting workloads in public cloud (AWS) and private cloud (OpenShift Container Platform)
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive change and enable applications teams to develop best-in-class applications
• Experience supporting applications and platforms within cloud environments
• Development of security principles and controls for containerized platforms in a regulated environment
• Deploying, managing and monitoring distributed systems in OpenShift Container Platform
• Configuration Management and Automation using Ansible
• Coding skills beyond scripting including developing, debugging and optimizing
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to draw meaningful conclusions from independent research
