Role Description

Reporting to the head of Voice and Video, this role is responsible for the design and day-to-day support of the company\xe2\x80\x99s Audio Visual estate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reactively investigate and resolve faults related to the UC platforms and associated services
  • components
  • Managing 3rd party suppliers including technical liaison, technical compliance
  • Configuration, and installation of AV Equipment
  • Undertaking configuration of 3rd party equipment
  • Resolve technical issues
  • Liaising with technical and operational staff
  • Responsible for creating procedures such as troubleshooting guides, upgrade and migration processes
  • Creation of AV designs and standards
  • Handle escalations and resolve issues in accordance to agreed SLAs, identifying root cause of problems and outlining appropriate solutions
  • Ensuring systems are patched according to company and Vendor requirements
Candidate Profile / Key Skills

Essential
  • Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure
  • 3 years+ of experience in AV
  • Please note we use years of experience as a guide, but we certainly will consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary for the role.
  • Experience in IPTV and Digital Signage solutions
  • Experience in global deployments of AV systems and technologies
  • Knowledge of video conference tools and troubleshooting specifically MS Teams
  • Audio DSP, video processing, control system platform proficiency (i.e. Biamp, Q-Sys, Extron, Christie, Crestron)
  • Exposure to Poly AV Devices
  • Good understanding of network topology
  • Strong interpersonal skills including networking, collaboration, communication, time management, being able to adapt to different audiences, environments, and cultures
  • Encourage strategic thinking, innovation, and action
  • Ability to be flexible, an outstanding teammate and ability to learn in a fast-paced environment are a must
Preferred
  • Knowledge of networking technologies \xe2\x80\x93 LAN, WAN, SDWAN
  • Legacy AV solutions - Cisco
  • Experience in large investment banking or financial services organisations
  • Knowledge of IT security procedures
  • Knowledge of technology estates and technologies desirable
