Job Description

:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web applications and REST APIs using Python Selenium/Playwright.
• Translate Gherkin/Cucumber feature files into executable automated tests.
• Leverage the Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) approach for software development and testing.
• Apply strong knowledge of software testing principles, practices, and tools.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation as part of the delivery process.
• Ensure the code follows PEP8 standards and is fully optimized.
• Adhere to solid design principles of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.
• Work with tools like Jenkins, GIT, BitBucket, Docker, JIRA, and Confluence for CI/CD, version control, and project tracking.
• Utilize Linux, KVM, and open-source systems in testing workflows.
• Actively interact and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including developers, product owners, and business analysts.
• Take complete ownership of deliverables, ensuring alignment with project requirements and timelines.
• Operate effectively within Agile and DevOps frameworks, contributing to continuous improvement and delivery cycles.

Key Skills: Required Skills Set:

• 5-8 years of experience in automation testing with Python/Advanced Python.
• Proficiency in web application and REST API testing.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GIT, BitBucket, Docker, JIRA, Confluence, Linux, and KVM.
• Strong understanding of the Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) approach.
• Excellent documentation skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with PEP8 coding standards and solid design principles of OOP.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a strong interest in Software Quality Assurance.
