Title: Automation tester (Java, Selenium, Rest API)
Location: Bangalore/Chennai/Hyderabad/Pune

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust automation frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API layers.
- Perform REST API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
- Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Conduct defect triage, root cause analysis, and regression testing.
- Maintain test documentation and provide detailed test reports.
- Continuously improve test automation practices and contribute to QA strategy.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
- Strong programming skills in Java (OOPs, collections, exception handling).
- Expertise in Selenium WebDriver and TestNG/JUnit frameworks.
- Solid experience in REST API testing using RestAssured or similar tools.
- Familiarity with JSON/XML, HTTP methods, and status codes.
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI tools (Jenkins, GitLab).
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
- Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with database testing (SQL).
