This role is focused on delivering high-quality automated testing solutions to ensure the reliability and performance of applications across platforms. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation scripts while working closely with development and QA teams. The position requires strong programming fundamentals, hands-on automation experience, and a solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web and API-based applications
• Create and maintain automation frameworks to support scalable and reusable testing
• Develop automation scripts using Java or Python for complex test scenarios
• Perform UI automation testing using tools such as Selenium
• Automate REST API testing using tools like RestAssured or equivalent
• Work with testing frameworks such as Cucumber, TestNG, or JUnit
• Debug, enhance, and optimize existing automation scripts
• Execute tests as part of sprint cycles and support regression testing
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to understand requirements and identify test coverage gaps
• Log, track, and validate defects using standard defect-tracking tools
• Ensure adherence to QA standards, best practices, and testing methodologies

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in automation testing
• Strong hands-on experience with Java or Python programming
• Solid understanding of automation testing concepts and scripting best practices
• Experience with UI automation tools and API testing frameworks
• Good knowledge of software testing life cycle and QA methodologies
• Ability to work in a BDD-based testing approach
• Familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in agile teams
• Experience with CI/CD tools, agile ceremonies, or bug-tracking systems is an added advantage
