BMC is looking for a QA Engineer to join a QE team working on complex and distributed software, developing test plans, executing tests, developing automation & assuring product quality.
Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:

• Design and develop robust, scalable automation for functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.
• Define and enforce automation standards, best practices, and coding guidelines across teams.
• Collaborate with product and development teams to understand requirements and translate them into automated test scenarios.
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve automation processes.
• Contribute to test data management, environment setup, and automation reporting.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes and ensure high product quality and reliability.
• Contribute to automation strategy to reduce manual testing efforts and accelerate releases
• Maintain documentation for automation processes and test cases.

To ensure you're set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
6+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
4+ years of experience in QA automation role.
Strong knowledge of AI/ML testing methodologies, model evaluation metrics, and data pipeline testing
Expertise in automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, RestAPI similar.
Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages
Solid understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Working knowledge of databases and SQL (Structured Query Language).
Experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
Background in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills:

• Test Automation experience, Scripting skills (preferably Robot Framework, Python etc.)

• Performance testing (Scalability, benchmarking, Load) frameworks, such as JMeter, etc.

• Agile methodology

• Jenkins CI

At BMC we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 1,725,800 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
The salary listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
