Title: Automation Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using Python, Scala, and Apache Spark.
- Design and implement test frameworks for validating large-scale data pipelines and distributed processing systems.
- Collaborate with development and data engineering teams to define test strategies and ensure coverage across functional and non-functional requirements.
- Perform data validation, transformation checks, and performance benchmarking in Spark-based environments.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor test execution across environments.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes, and drive resolution of defects and performance bottlenecks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in automation testing, with a focus on data engineering or big data platforms.
- Strong programming skills in Python and Scala.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark for data processing and validation.
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks, version control (Git), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Experience with data quality checks, ETL validation, and distributed system testing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile, fast-paced environments.
