Your Role and Responsibilities
Your role will primarily be an automation subject matter expert that will provide automation guidance and consulting, using Ansible and other automation scripts, to a team of Site Reliability Engineers. In your role you will work closely with the IBM CIO Hybrid Cloud Platform Automation Operations team to develop Best Practices, develop and test of new automation playbooks, and to partner with other automation teams within IBM.
Another part of your role will be a liaison between the infrastructure support team and the Japanese speaking customers that this team supports. Taking advantage of your experience and exposure to Japanese you will help the team with translating documentation, communicating changes, incidents, and problem resolution, and maintaining prioritization of requests.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5+ years of prior experience as an automation developer, primarily with Ansible, developing automation solutions for consumption by groups of users.
• You have prior knowledge of the Japanese language (reading/writing/speaking) as a Bilingual engineer.
