We are seeking a Automation QA Test Engineer to join our Single Sign-On Services Engineering team in Pune. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks and strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality, secure, and scalable software solutions.
You'll work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, validate complex user flows, and drive continuous improvement in test coverage and reliability. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a passion for quality engineering.

Your key responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications, APIs, and microservices
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and coverage goals
Develop and execute end-to-end, regression, performance, and security tests
Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work with engineering teams to resolve issues
Maintain test data, environments, and reusable components for scalable automation
Ensure compliance with accessibility, security, and internationalization standards
Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in automation and quality assurance
Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to improve testing efficiency
Your skills and experience
5+ years of experience in automation testing of enterprise-grade applications
Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks
Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript for test scripting
Experience with API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, or Karate
Familiarity with OAuth2/SAML/OpenID Connect flows and federated identity systems is a plus
Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices
Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Fluent in English
