Project description
As a new joiner, you will be working on a new settlements and confirmation system for FX trades.
Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures in compliance with test strategy, testing standards, templates, and test plans.
• Design and execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with Crew Leads, Test Engineering Chapter Lead and Agile coaches to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Dev Leads to understand and resolve challenges, opportunities and areas of collaboration
• Be a hands-on contributor in the test automation space, capable of writing and contributing to test automation frameworks, leading across best practices for API, stream and non-functional testing in the cloud and on prem.
• Analyze test results and report findings to the development team.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Continuously improve Test Engineering processes and methodologies.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

SKILLS
Must have

• Minimum 7 to 9 years experience of testing complex systems and business flows
• Should have full understanding of SDLC, QA and Defect Lifecycle
• Should have Automation experience using tool like Selenium (BDD framework with Java/Python)
• Good to have devops knowledge along with Automation testing experience and able to work on the CICD Integration of automated test packs.
• Good to have experience in Banking & Financial Markets, preferably Investment Banking - Forex Trade Settlements
• Should have experience with Test data identification & creation
• Should have experience in working & handling different phases of testing.
• Should have Experience in building automation frameworks
• Should have Exposure to test management tools (e.g. Gitlab, JIRA, Quality Centre)
• Should engage proactively with QA Manager regarding project statuses, resourcing, risk
• Good to have experience in Security & Performance Testing.
• Good to have basic understanding of Java programming for macros development
• Good to have working experience on various CI tools
• Good to have working experience with globally distributed teams
