Your Role and Responsibilities
Automation Head-F&A India IBM, you would be responsible for driving automation agenda across Finance and Accounting. This is a critical role that will identify and drive digital transformation infinitive of strategic importance to our internal and external customers in addition to identifying automation opportunities with a sharp focus on productivity

• This will be a people manager role.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for ensuring productivity targets
• Manage stakeholders to co-create automation roadmap
• Design and develop innovative technical assets for business solution
• Manage India centre of excellence for automation
• Ensure team growth while managing optimal team utilization
• Work with business teams to simplify and improve operations by analysing processes and creating end-to-end automation solution designs.
• Prepare a business case for the identified automation solution and present it to key stakeholders for approval to initiate development.
• Lead the implementation of the automation projects by providing business requirements to the developers and ensuring that the process requirements are translated into Automation functionalities.
• Responsible for monitoring and managing the successful implementation of automation projects.
• Provide status to key stakeholders on project progress and call out project risks and mitigation plan.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 15-20+ years of overall experience
• Experience in handling large-scale enterprise-wide automation projects using Blueprism, UI Path, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, e.tc.
• Experience of design and successful establishment of Shared Services operations within complex global organizations or demonstrable consulting experience with exposure to successful sales pursuits
• Energy, drive, and resilience to overcomes challenges in various contexts
• Knowledge and experience in driving a performance-based culture in F&A
• Cross-functional knowledge of finance processes, e.g., O2C, R2A, P2P

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Ability to bring market and leading practice insights in F&A operations.
• Preferred resources from ITES/BPO/KPO/OEM (blue prism, Automation anywhere or UI path or Consulting industry with F&A Transformation experience.
• A passion and deep interest in automation/ new technologies.
