Job Title: Automation Test Engineer (T2)
Job Location: Pune
Job Duration: 6 Months CTH
Job Type: Hybrid (2-3 days a week)
Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing desktop or web-based applications and a passion for ensuring software quality through automated and manual testing processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and execute automated test scripts, preferably using C#.
• Report and track bugs using tools like Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues.
• Conduct basic root cause analysis to determine the origins of defects.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive test documentation.
• Enhance teamwork and communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Utilize generative AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot/Edge Copilot) to drive speed and innovation in manual/automation testing.

Essential Skills & Requirements:
Must Have:

• Experience in testing desktop or web-based applications.
• Proficiency in designing and executing automated test scripts (preferably using C#).
• Bug reporting and tracking experience with tools like ADO.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnosing, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with source control tools such as Git.
• Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of implementing CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Experience with testing tools such as WinAppDriver.
• Experience in using generative AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot/Edge Copilot) in testing processes.
