Automation Development

This role has been designed as \xe2\x80\x98Hybrid\xe2\x80\x99 with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

What you\'ll do:

1. Collaborate with QA and development teams to gather automation requirements and develop automation scripts within the planned schedule.

2. Execute automation scripts for multiple On-prem or Cloud based applications and triage the failures. Fix any automation script or infrastructure issues.

3. Coordination and communication within the team. Take complete ownership to finish the assigned tasks.

4. Maintain automation documentation.

5. Be accountable for timely release of the products by ensuring that automation is executed in required frequency.

6. Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible.

7. Development of automation framework, libraries, tools, and test harness to automate repetitive tasks for QA, Development, or automation team members.

What you need to bring:

1. High-energy, detail-oriented, and proactive with the ability to function under pressure in a collaborative (Agile) environment.

2. At least 5 years of experience in advance python programming and automation frameworks (e.g., pytest). Strong object-oriented design and coding skills are a must.

3. Extensive knowledge of networking and networking security protocols (IP addressing, TCP, UDP, SNMP, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS).

4. Experience in working with Cloud based platforms and applications (Hands on knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Humio, AWS, Azure etc.)

5. Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.

6. Experience with Jenkins, Git, REST API, XML, JSON, HTML.

7. Hands on experience with Linux/Windows/MacOS and Virtualization (VMware/KVM/Hyper-V).

8. Demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as work in a team environment and demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Minimum requirements for the role:

1. Minimum education at BE or Master level in Computer Science or related fields.

5-7 years of relevant industry experience.
