Using design documentation and functional programming specifications, you will be responsible for implementing identified components. You will ensure that implemented components are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration into the final product. You will have the opportunity to architect the solution, test the code, and deploy and build a CI/CD pipeline for it. Required Technical and Professional Experience . 10 years of experience working as a software engineer on complex software projects Good understanding of OS fundamentals is key, don\'t need to be deep dive engineer just comfortable with the technology and methodologies employed by the various OS and vendors. i.e. Networking LVM mgmt Security Hardware Virtualisation OS Competencies Solaris RHEL AIX From a development perspective its key that you have a functional understanding of programming principles, as this will provide more ease in transitioning from language to language. Exposure / Experience in the following languages would be ideal. Python BAsh Shell JS Perl Powershell (Windows transition) Ruby Automation tools In both CMO/FMO varying level of experience are required in the toolsets being used, however its fair to say that on a day/day basis, if your devleoping in either location you will need experience of the toolsets and any underlying languages that are needed in leveraging the toolset.
