Overview

Looking for dynamic, technically strong and enthusiastic test automation architect for automation COE. He/She will work closely with delivery and sales team to give solutions for a given problem statements.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement automation test processes, strategies and approaches for complex test requirements with support from the Technical Architect and get buy in from different stakeholders.
• Define test assessment strategies for client project requirements. Analyzes competitive products and technologies and makes appropriate suggestions (may use demos, POCs) to influence product / technology direction.
• Architect should provide a practical approach to complex product testing, specifically in the areas of the automation of test cases for the purposes of regression testing. Be creative and proactive thinker and make use of current technologies to provide extensible automation infrastructures.
• Architect should review product requirements, functional and design specifications to determine and prepare automated test cases.
• Should have experience working directly with customer.
• Solid experience in responding RFP as per given schedule, handling Client escalation and calls,
• Hands on Experience in designing various Automation Framework like hybrid, data driven, key word driven etc.
• Possess hands-on experience on multiple open-source tools (Java, Selenium, Cucumber etc.).
• Should have tool evaluation experience and build capabilities if required using required tool.

Qualifications

B.E. or equivalent

Skills

• 10 - 20 years of experience in testing
• Min 6 - 10 years of experience in Software Automation, as well as the associated tools, frameworks, and infrastructures.
• Hands-on development of Automation framework on Playwright, BDD(cucumber), Selenium, TDD, and Serenity with skills in Java, Javascript, and Typescript.
• Web Automation \xe2\x80\x93 (Java, C#, Python, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG), API automation and Mobile Automation
• Well versed with programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, Javascript etc.
• Mobile Automation using Appium or any other open-source tool.
• Desktop automation using leading enterprise or open-source tool.
• API Automation using commercial or open-source tool.
• Knowledge of CI-CD implementation
• Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodology
• Knowledge of Test and Defect management tool \xe2\x80\x93 JIRA, HP ALM or any other equivalent tool
• Knowledge of Desktop based application automation is added advantage.
• Experience leading automation team of 5 - 10 resources
• Masters / Bachelor s degree or equivalent.
• Exceptional communication skills in written & spoken English
• Prior development experience and knowledge of other automation tools would be a plus
• Good level of understanding of architectural principles, Design methodologies, and their applicability.
• Deep understanding of Automation Framework types and their usage for creating sustainable automation solutions. Experience in Cloud services (AWS, Azure, Browser Stack, etc.), SDLC Tools, specifically Test, Build, and CI/CD Automation tools and their utility
• Hands-on Git and continuous integration tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo, Git Hub Actions, etc.)
• Experience in the development of YAML, Workflow creation, and Deployment of test scripts.
• Experience in understanding API and hands-on experience in the implementation of Test Automation of REST and SOAP API Automation using plugins like Apache Swagger, CXF.
• Hands-on experience in automating standard application technologies, e.g., UI (Web/Thick Clients), Messaging / API systems, Database (including NoSQL), and Mobile.
• Participate in designing Test Automation Architecture Principles and their application in building or re-working automation framework(s) and artifacts.
