You will need to demonstrate a solid understanding of the analyst role within an agile framework and a desire to listen and work with peers across technology. Most importantly you will need to show that you can face off to business users as well as technical team members and that you can be a valued considerate member of a small team. You will take responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of software and engage business users where necessary, and at an appropriate level. Where we don't have a product owner in the business, you will act as notional product owner during the delivery process and will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery. As well as business analysis you will need to be comfortable operating in a systems analyst or data analystrole at times in order to see the work through. Our work vary from green-field projects to legacy application replacements to delivering bespoke capabilities on strategic initiatives. You will need to support our Power Platform engineers through the processes required for deploying supportable and stable software in M&G. This may include engaging with security, data privacy and architecture teams depending on the specific project. The ability to build strong relationships in these areas will be an asset to the wider team so good communication and a collaborative attitude are key. You will also need to ensure documentation is maintained in line with the processes set out by the Power Platform delivery and support teams. What we are looking for Essential
5+ years working in technology

Experience of business and process analysis

Must have very strong problem analysis and investigation skills and be able to find creative sustainable solutions
Knowledge/experience of agile development practices and have worked under an agile methodology
Strong communication skills and ability to work with end users and technology stakeholders
Ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks across diverse stakeholders
Ability to work reliably without close supervision and used to working in a structured environment with clearly defined procedures and controls
Good interpersonal skills are key, the candidate must be able to work well with other members of the team, management and business users
Useful
3+ years working in asset management or wealth management
Understanding of the wider O365 stack of technologies and Azure
Experienced in issue/problem management - on both technical and user/process basis
Experience of Atlassian products (JIRA/Confluence)
